About Me

I find great joy in helping people find increased life satisfaction. Through in-depth exploration of how your thoughts and emotions influence the way you navigate your relationship with self and others, I will provide a consistent, caring and collaborative space for you to gain insight into what you want to change and then work with you to develop a plan that leads to fulfilling and lasting change.

 More About My Practice

As a psychologist, I am informed by several approaches to therapy, including Interpersonal (developmental and relational patterns), Emotion Focused (the primary importance of attachment and relationship needs), Family Systems (understanding rules and roles that shaped your development) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy or CBT (cognitive restructuring, humor). I integrate these approaches, and individualize my treatment based on your needs. Based on my experience, research, and client feedback, I believe that the work you do in therapy often leads to more rewarding relationships, helpful solutions to specific problems, and significant reductions of stress.

My Specialties

I provide insight-oriented therapy to help relieve symptoms of depression, anxiety, relational, developmental and adjustment issues with adults. I also have extensive experience consulting and working within and across systems including universities, schools, hospitals, and healthcare systems, including community-based services, crisis intervention, and emergency service management.  I see people as influenced by their environments, I am very comfortable working with you and the various systems that influence your thoughts and behaviors.
