About Me
My goal in therapy is to help individuals decrease suffering and increase richness and meaning in their lives. We will work together to clarify what’s been getting in the way of your goals and values and use state-of-the-art treatments to build more helpful ways of living.
More About My Practice
I provide evidence-based treatments for adults utilizing forms of therapy that have been demonstrated through research to address your specific mental health concerns. I work mainly within the framework of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which emphasizes the connections between our thoughts, emotions, and actions. I have advanced training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and I frequently blend CBT with mindfulness- and acceptance-based approaches to fully address your concerns.
My Specialties
I specialize in working with individuals experiencing the effects of trauma, anxiety, and prolonged grief. I provide two gold-standard treatments for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), prolonged exposure therapy (PE) and cognitive processing therapy (CPT), as well as CBT for a wide range of anxiety-related concerns and co-occurring mood difficulties, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). I also provide prolonged grief therapy (PGT) for individuals experiencing prolonged or complicated grief.
